Michael Steingo Accredited as a LEED® Green Associate

Freeborn & Peters is pleased to announce that Michael Steingo, an Associate in the Real Estate and Land Use Practice Group, has been accredited as a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate by the Green Building Certification Institute. The LEED® Green Associate designation is designed for professionals who have demonstrated green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice and those who denote basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations. The LEED® Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
As a LEED® Green Associate, Mr. Steingo has gained knowledge of green design and construction to be able to assist clients in drafting and negotiating documents in connection with acquisition and disposition of real estate, representing lenders and borrowers in numerous financing transactions including construction loans and multi-property loan transactions.
